Wir empfehlen, Leinenstoffe immer separat in lauwarmem Wasser (maximal 40 °C) oder sogar kaltem Wasser im Schonwaschgang mit Feinwaschmittel für Feinwäsche oder Leinen zu waschen. Verwenden Sie keine Bleichmittel oder Waschmittel mit Farbaufhellern, da diese Ihre Leinenbettwäsche verfärben und schwächen können. Überladen Sie Ihre Maschine nicht und spülen Sie Ihre Wäsche gründlich aus, um Waschmittel- oder Weichspülerrückstände zu entfernen.
Leinenstoffe können bei niedriger Temperatur im Wäschetrockner getrocknet werden. Wir empfehlen, sie nicht vollständig zu trocknen, sondern sie noch etwas feucht zu lassen und sie anschließend aufzuhängen oder flach hinzulegen.

What can the linen tea towel be used for?
The tea towel can be used for drying dishes, glassware, or hands in the kitchen. It absorbs water well and dries quickly between uses.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes. Machine wash warm on a gentle cycle. Air dry or tumble dry low. The fabric softens with each wash.
Is it OEKO-TEX® certified?
Yes. It is certified under OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (2019OK0776) and tested for harmful substances.
Is this eco-friendly?
It is made from 100% linen (European flax) and finished using water-free mechanical stone-washing.
Can I gift it?
Yes. The linen tea towel is suitable for gifting and can be paired with matching other colors table linens.

My husband and I really like the all the colors of the linen tea towels we got from Magic Linen. So far they have been great in our kitchen and bathroom. The only problem is when we took them out of their packaging they smelled like artificial fragrance, which is toxic. Luckily the smell disappeared after a few days of airing them out and washing them. We know that Magic Linen is not intentionally adding fragrance because it would go against their OEKO-TEX certification. My best guess is the person/people who were packaging the linen towels into their bags was wearing heavy artificial fragrance that rubbed off onto the towels. For those of you who don't know artificial fragrance often contains PFAS chemicals that persist for about 100 years. The problem of artificial fragrance being on and in things we've ordered is steadily growing over the years. I hope the public will become aware of how dangerous these chemicals are for the health of the people and planet and demand that they are never used in or on anything. To end on a positive note. I recommend the Magic Linen tea towels.

Was looking for good quality (and beautiful) tea towels. I stumbled on Magic Linen and they did NOT disappoint. They’re the perfect aesthetic and seem to soften with age. They’re absorbent and dry so fast!
