  • Our linen products are durable, breathable, and designed for regular use and repeat washing. Proper care helps maintain their fabric structure, color clarity, and natural drape, minimizes shrinkage, and allows the linen to soften naturally over time.

    Wash
    Warm, gentle cycle (up to 40°C / 104°F) with mild detergent. Wash with similar colors and turn inside out. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Don’t overload the washing machine, as this can cause creasing.

    Dry
    Air dry preferred or tumble dry low. Remove while slightly damp to help retain shape. Avoid high heat.

    Iron
    Medium heat while slightly damp for a refined finish. Iron is optional, as natural creasing is part of linen’s character.

    Store
    Hang or fold in a cool, dry place away from prolonged direct sunlight.

    Stain Care
    Blot spills promptly and pre-treat with mild detergent before washing.

    Shrinkage
    Linen is a natural fiber and may shrink slightly if exposed to hot water or high heat. Cold or lukewarm washing and low-heat drying help minimize dimensional change. Pre-washed linen (like ours) is less prone to shrinkage but still benefits from gentle care.

    Cold washing and gentle drying help maintain color saturation and pattern clarity over time.

The quality of the bag is great and is as described; however, it does not keep homemade bread fresh for very long. I made a loaf of sourdough and in less than two days is was very hard. Too hard to eat so I turned the rest into some amazing bread crumbs.

This bag is 1.5cm narrower (23.5cm) than advertised (25cm). Hopefully, we can fit our bread into the narrower opening. Othwerwise, ok.

Well made, great quality linen!

The reason I gave it four out of five stars is because the drawstring could be several inches longer. I had to dig it out of the channel, and tie a knot in each end to prevent it from getting lost inside the casing again. I have not yet used it for the larger round loaves that are on the shelf of the bakery... not sure if they will fit through the opening. My homemade loaves are smaller and this is an excellent way for them to stay fresh on my counter!

I was skeptical in purchasing this product but am so glad it did. Our fresh sourdough round stays moist and fresher in the linen bag. We tend to eat it faster too since it keeps the bread much more flavorful. We used to have mold develop when stored in a plastic bag or airtight container within a few days. Not anymore with this linen bag.
My only recommendation is to make the size bigger to fit a 1.5 lb. try round loaf. I have to cut off part if the bread to be able to fit it into the bag. Thank you.
By the way I bought 2 and will give one away to my friends who make the sourdough bread.

Great bag, but shrinks

The linen bag is great for storing & keeping crusty bread fresh. I followed the care instructions; wash in cold water on delicate setting & air-dry. It still shrinks - lost 1 inch in length & half inch in width. Given that, the original bag should be made larger to allow for shrinkage. It also would be nice to have a long bag for longer loaves & baguettes and a square bag for round loaves.
